I did not wake up one morning and decide carpets were my calling. That would sound dramatic. Also slightly odd.
It started in London, 13 years ago, with a machine, a van, and a lot of staircases. Proper city staircases too. Narrow, awkward, and always on the top floor when the job involved the heaviest equipment.
Over the years, I cleaned carpets, upholstery, rugs, curtains, and mattresses in every kind of property you can imagine. Small flats. Large houses. Offices. Rental properties. Family homes with pets, children, spilled juice, mystery stains, and sofas that had clearly seen things.
